A ROAD in York will be closed to pedestrians and vehicles for a brief period next week.
Knavesmire Road will be closed for 150 metres from the junction of Mount Vale from 10.50am to 11.30am on Monday, July 31.
The closure will be carried out to allow the safe unveiling of a VC Commemorative paving stone, and an alternative route will be displayed throughout the closure.
Traffic signs and barriers will also be in place throughout.
