A NEW campaign has launched to find the next generation of lifeguards.
East Riding leisure centres are backing Royal Life Saving Society UK’s #Bealifeguard push to find the next generation people they say are everyday heroes.
To support the campaign, five East Riding leisure centres are running pool lifeguard courses for a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) and people are being encouraged to sign up.

The leisure centres are also looking for more swimming teachers, to meet soaring demand for lessons.
