POLICE are investigating two separate incidents in Tadcaster and Selby in which a man is reported to have exposed himself to women.

North Yorkshire Police said the description of the man was the same in both cases.

A spokeswoman said one happened alongside the River Wharfe near the viaduct in Tadcaster and the other in Church Hill, Selby - both on Monday June 19.

"However, there have been other reports of this nature recently along the river in Tadcaster," she said.

"Officers are appealing for information to help identify the man believed to be involved in the incidents of exposure."

The man is understood to have been wearing a black hooded top and grey shorts with white stripes.
