NURSES and doctors at a York GP surgery have been rated highly by their patients.

Nurses at Unity Health, which has three practices in Wenlock Terrace, Hull Road and the University of York campus, were given a 100 per cent vote of confidence, while 95 per cent of patients said they had confidence in their doctor.

The national GP survey also found patients were pleased with all aspects of nursing care, saying nurses were good at involving them in decisions, explaining tests and treatments and treating them with care.

The surgeries were also rated higher than the national average for patients waiting to get an appointment.

Chloe Haigh, nurse manager, said: “We are immensely proud of our nurses and their hard work – achieving 100% in this survey recognises all their high performance, qualities and skills.
