A GOBLET given to The Queen as a gift to commemorate the 500th anniversary of the completion of York Minster forms part of an exhibition at Buckingham Palace.
The modern parcel gilt silver commemorative goblet, pictured, was presented to Her Majesty to mark the 500th anniversary in 1971.
It will be one of more than 250 objects on display during the Royal Gifts exhibition at this year’s Summer Opening of the State Rooms at Buckingham Palace.
The exhibition runs from this Saturday to October 1.
