A PRIVATE music festival near York entertained crowds and raised nearly £4,000 for charity.
The two-day festival was organised by the Acomb Retro Scooter Enthusiasts group and the local mod band, The 5:15’s.
People from other local scooter groups and friends of the band were invited to attend the festival, at a farm near Upper Poppleton. The event raised about £3,800 for Macmillan Cancer Support. The first night featured DJs playing Northern Soul music. Ian Kay’s Soul Dream featured with headliners, The 5:15s. and Shed Seven’s Alan Leach was the drummer.
