Bootham Green housing in the former Shipton Street School
RESIDENTS in part of York want to hear from people with memories of their neighbourhood.
A Shipton Street Area Smartie Party is being held on Friday, August 4 from 10.30am-noon and again from 7pm-9pm in St Luke’s Church Hall.
People are invited to come armed with old photos, tales and any memorabilia with the hope that a ‘show and tell’ street party can take place at a later date. Go to www.facebook.com/Shiptonst
