A CYCLIST was seriously hurt in a collision with a car in East Yorkshire.
Humberside Police said a blue Citroen Berlingo and an 18-year-old cyclist collided on the A614 at the junction with Bessingby Gate in Bridlington, shortly before 5.30pm yesterday.
A spokesman for the force said the cyclist "sustained serious head injuries" and was airlifted to Middlesbrough hospital for treatment. The driver was uninjured, the spokesman added.
