Vehicle overturns in York and two taken to hospital
TWO people were taken to hospital on Saturday afternoon after a road crash in York.
The two-vehicle crash happened on the A1237 ring road near Wigginton Road and fire and rescue crews were called at 12.25pm.
One vehicle had overturned, but when the fire service arrived everyone was out of their vehicle.
Two people were taken to hospital by road ambulance.
The fire crew from Huntington helped police and ambulance workers by making the vehicle safe and sweeping the road clear.
