FURTHER to articles in The Press, many people are still being failed by our mental health services.

Things have improved in York in some services, but people already in the service are obviously not monitored sufficiently.

Just giving out a number to ring is not right when people are at a low ebb.

They need a human voice and contact.

Saying “sorry” and “lessons will be learned” is not good enough.
