NATURE lovers will be hoping to find at least 40 different species of flora in ancient meadows, woodland and hedgerows on the edge of York tomorrow.
Paul Knaggs will lead a wildflower walk through Clifton Backies nature reserve, hosted by Friends of Clifton Backies, starting at 7pm.
As they walk, participants will identify the species they see and organisers are aiming to beat the achievement of the group’s last walk, when nearly 40 species were identified.
The walk starts at Woodland Chase car park, off Water Lane, York, and all are welcome.
