ESCRICK Live and Roots Music Festival will premiere on August 26 with an eclectic genre of local, national and international artists, playing sessions over two days.

The 100-year-old Escrick Club will provide the venue and will entertain 600 music lovers with proceeds being donated to Yorkshire Air Ambulance and St Leonard’s Hospice.

As well as music, premium beers and fine wines, festival goers will have a choice of world foods – including Smokin Blues Smokehouse & BBQ and Bali Beach Hut (Indonesian Street Food).

The event is family friendly and throughout the festival there will be face painting, circus tricks and village games and prizes.

Acts and special guests will include:George Borowski and the Fabulous Wonderfuls, The Blueflies with Grammy nominated artist, composer and performer Miles Gilderdale, John Crocker and Family, Edwina Hayes, Rachel Croft, Joe Alexander Shepperd and Violet Contours.
