STUDENTS dressed up to the nines to bid farewell to their schools days in style.
York High School’s Year 11 prom was held at the Fairfield Manor Hotel, in Skelton, and about 120 students enjoyed an evening of food and dancing.
Pupils tucked into a three course meal before taking to the dance floor.
James Green and Ellie Hendry were named as the prom’s king and queen.
ACOMB:
Head teacher David Ellis said: “It was a really special evening, partly because it was my last as the head teacher of York High but mainly because there was such a fantastic atmosphere which was a result of the great team spirit that the Head of Year 11 James Walker had built up in the year group.
“It was a fitting celebration which recognised what a great bunch of young people Year 11 are and we wish them all well for the future.”
