Police stop 17 drivers in one night
A MISSING woman was found, drivers of defective vehicles were stopped and an uninsured driver’s car was seized all in one night.
A total of 17 vehicles were stopped and seven people were given breath tests in Harrogate on Tuesday as part of Operation Hawk, North Yorkshire Police’s campaign to clamp down on various crimes.
An uninsured car was seized, two traffic offence reports were given to drivers for MOT-related offences and police found a Harrogate woman in Leeds after she had been reported missing several hours earlier.
