2. Celtic punk rockers, Dropkick Murphys will be raising the roof at Bournemouth’s O2 Academy on Thursday, June 29 as part of their European tour.

5. The award-winning Vintage Shake & Stir Festival swings into action at Southbourne from Thursday, June 29 to Sunday, July 2 with music, dancing, classic cars, food and drink stalls.

6. Catch The Wessex Youth Orchestra: Travels with an Orchestra at Lighthouse, Poole on Saturday July 1 at 6pm. Be amongst the first to hear what they have in store for their Swiss audiences.

8. The brilliant jazz act The Button Band will be at Soundcellar in Poole on Thursday, June 29.

9. Textile artists in Christchurch who are members of CADArts (Christchurch and District Arts) have come together to produce a stunning exhibition which runs until June 29 at the Hayloft Gallery. Free admission.
