Police have now found the woman they wished to speak to.

POLICE want to speak to this woman about the attempted theft of hundreds of pounds worth of toys from a shop in York.

North Yorkshire Police have released these images of a woman in Smyths Toys at Clifton Moor retail park who was carrying three large bags.

The incident took place at 4.20pm on Saturday, May 27, and police said a number of high value electronic toys were placed into the bags and the woman attempted to leave the store before being stopped by security.

A spokesman said the property was recovered, but the woman made off from the store.

She was white, 5’6’’ tall, aged 29 to 30 and was heavily pregnant at the time.  She had dark hair up in a bun and was wearing a khaki coloured coat with a fur hood, a long black and white checked top, black leggings and burgundy boots.
