A LEADING engineering company has renewed its partnership with Selby College after working together for the past six years.
The partnership between Doosan Babcock, which has an office in Selby, and the college was extended at a special signing ceremony at the college’s Abbot’s Road campus. Since 2011, they have continued to support each other with the college providing access to their state-of-the art engineering training facilities and apprenticeship training programmes. Doosan Babcock has provided safety equipment, including overalls and safety glasses to engineering students, talks to students on industry practice, including health and safety, and opportunities for teaching staff to update their skills.
