I BELIEVE that City of York Council could learn a lot from Harrogate Borough Council by building thousands on land just outside York.

For years now, they have used places like school sports fields, parks and places where people like to walk their dogs.

I know people at Green Hammerton aren’t happy but we all have to realise houses are needed.

Harrogate Borough Council are at least talking about building new schools and shops and other important things that a lot of people need.

Come on, City of York Council, let’s have a couple of thousand houses built a mile or two towards Malton.
