VANDALS caused hundreds of pounds of damage to a car parked in Selby.
North Yorkshire Police said the grey Audi A6 was parked in South Parade car park in York Street between 10.20am and 11.09am on Saturday, when it was damaged.
A spokesman said: “In the short time the vehicle was in situ there have been multiple scratches along one side of it. The estimated cost for repair is expected to be over £500 and an extensive amount of respraying work will be required.”
