A CYCLIST injured her arms and face when she was involved in a crash with a 4x4 on a York street.
North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses after the crash at the junction of Lord Mayor’s Walk, Gillygate and Clarence Street at around 5.50pm last Friday.
Police believe the cyclist’s rear wheel was clipped by the blue vehicle while she was cycling away from traffic lights on Gillygate and travelling onto Clarence Street.
The driver did not stop or report the incident to police.
Police said no members of the public stopped at the time to assist, or provide information to the cyclist or attending police officer.
