Plant fair.
GREEN-FINGERED residents near York have grown more than 1,000 plants to be sold at a fair this month.
The Claxton and Sand Hutton Plant Fair will be held in Sand Hutton Village Hall on June 11, from 10.30am to 3.30pm, in aid of the hall. A variety of plants, grown by villagers in Claxton and Sand Hutton, will be available. It will feature art, craft and horticultural exhibitors, a garden book stall, plant advice and activities for kids.
