THREE people have been arrested on the A64 near Tadcaster and a stolen car seized following a police pursuit.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesman said the pursuit entered the county from West Yorkshire last Friday afternoon as the Audi A6, reported as being stolen from Bradford, travelled along the A1.
He said officers brought the car to a safe stop on the A64 east-bound carriageway near Tadcaster and arrested two men and a woman from the Bradford area, who were handed over to West Yorkshire Police and have since been released on bail.
