THE FA Trophy winners will give a special VIP behind the scenes tour of their home to a another winning organisation tomorrow.
York City FC will roll out the red carpet for Oaken Youth Group of Haxby at Bootham Crescent.
The youngsters, all aged from 10 to 14, organise sports for themselves and others of all ages in their community and were among the winners in a competition run by the club’s foundation together with community sponsor Benenden.
Paula Stainton, foundation manager of York City FC Foundation, said: “We are looking forward to welcoming these competition winners to the club for what will be a very special visit. The competition has been a great opportunity for us to reach out to local groups who are interested in the club and keeping fit in general.”
Three other groups also won VIP trips in the competition.
