FIREFIGHTERS in North Yorkshire had a couple of unusual 999 calls to respond to last night.
A crew from Selby were called to a report of a child stuck in a tree in Oxen Lane, Selby, at about 9.55pm.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "On arrival he was not stuck, just reluctant to get down.
"Assisted with manpower."
Meanwhile, a crew from Scarborough were sent to North Marine Road, in Scarborough, at around 7.55pm, following a report of a person stuck in handcuffs.
The crew released the person using a hacksaw, the spokesman added.
