STUDENTS from Pauline Quirke Academy of Performing Arts in York have taken to the stage in London’s West End.
They dazzled their family and friends with a spectacular performance of ‘The Lazy Ace,’ a musical comedy set on the glitzy, glamorous Las Vegas Strip in the 1950s, at Her Majesty’s Theatre on Sunday.
The students are given the chance to perform at London’s home to Phantom of the Opera so they can get to experience the thrill and buzz of performing on a West End stage.
York academy principal James Aconley said “The students had fun and absolutely loved performing to a sell-out crowd.”
