A MAN in his fifties has died in a car crash in North Yorkshire.

North Yorkshire Police said a blue Mini Cooper was travelling on the A169 Malton Road near Pickering at just before 10pm on Sunday when it veered off the road.

The car broke through a fence and crashed into a local resident's garden, close to The Black Bull Inn.
