Stamford Bridge Singers performing
STAMFORD Bridge singers are performing a special choral evensong at St Helen’s Church, Escrick, next month.
The service, on Sunday, June 11 at 5.30pm, will follow the 1662 prayer book and will include a capella music directed by Stuart Nettleship, plus hymns and psalms accompanied by St Helen’s organist Nigel Bellamy.
The singers will also perform canticles by Orlando Gibbons, responses by Rose and the anthem “Locus Iste” by Anton Bruckner. The service is open to all.
