FIREFIGHTERS came to the rescue of a child who was accidentally locked in a vehicle in Easingwold.
North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service said the parents were outside the vehicle in Long Street, unable to get in, and the fire brigade was called to the scene at 10.46am today.
“The crews gained access to the vehicle using small tools, allowing a safe exit for the child from the vehicle,” said a spokesman.
