LEADERS of the science and technology industry from across the globe will gather at York Racecourse to share ideas and knowledge in a two-day conference starting on Tuesday.
York Science Park representatives will join delegates from similar organisations at the International Association of Science Parks European division and UK Science Parks Association conference.
The York park’s chief executive officer Tracey Smith said: “As well as providing invaluable opportunities for leaders from science and technology parks around the world to share knowledge, experience and learn from each other, the conference provides a fantastic opportunity to showcase our city and all it offers.”
“We have superb speakers ready to share best practice and global perspectives, along with opportunities for discussion that will help science and technology parks continue to attract and deliver the very best services to their residents and engage with the stakeholders and local communities they serve.”
More than 500 delegates are expected to attend the conference, which is held in conjunction with laboratory support organisation S-Lab and will include a gala dinner and award evening .
