A SPECIAL exhibition will take place this weekend on the role of British Transport Police.
The National Railway Museum (NRM) in York is marking the start of British Transport History Week with police dog demonstrations, fingerprint badge making sessions for children, and the chance to help solve a ‘crime’ in the NRM’s Station Hall.
Visitors can also have their mugshot taken in the Rogue’s Gallery, and learn more about how science and technology help fight crime.
The event runs from today (SAT), to Monday (MAY 1), and on Saturday only, visitors can take part in interactive displays by Leeds University, using state-of-the-art facial composite technology to identify criminals. Crime author Nick Quantrill will visit the museum on Monday, when visitors can use vintage typewriters to create their own dramatic short story. For more information go to nrm.org.uk.
