RYEDALE’S second jigsaw festival has raised more than £900.
St Helen’s Church, in Amotherby, hosted the event in the village hall. The festival included a display of up to 200 made-up jigsaws of various makes, types and sizes. The “Golden Jigsaw” winner was Hayley Brown, from Pickering.
More than £1,100 was raised, which will be divided between Ryedale Carers Support and St Helen’s Church.
One of the organisers, Colleen Allwood, said: “We had a good day and lots of jigsaw enthusiasts came along and supported the event.
“We would like to thank everyone who attended and all the volunteers who came along and helped on the day or made jigsaws to be sold at the event and made the day a success.”
