WE are told that sex shops in York are set to be “bound by more robust regulations” (The Press, April 20).
This does not affect me I guess, but while the council are looking at this problem can they also consider the shops in York which sell knives?
We have several of these shops in York and I was shocked to see inside the door of one of these shops a “bargain bucket” of daggers and knives with a price of just £25.
Knife crime is rising all over the UK, but we allow weapons to be purchased just like any other shop commodity. Crazy.
