HELMSLEY Walled Garden will be hosting a wedding and spring fair on Saturday.

Held in conjunction with Totem Tipis, it will run from 10am to 3pm and the entrance fee for both the fair and the garden is £2.

As well as giving visitors a chance to explore the spring displays, there will be the opportunity to look inside Totem Tipi’s Giant hat Scandinavian style teepees, which can be hired for events.

Totem Tipi is a social enterprise set up by Connecting Youth Culture, with any profits made helping to fund youth services in the region through the North Yorkshire County Council.

The event will also play host to a range of wedding suppliers.

On the day there will also be stalls selling artwork, scarves, garden ornaments and homewares.

Mike I’Anson, is the manager of Helmsley Walled Garden.

He said: “It should be a great day out for everyone.

Whether they’re planning a wedding and looking for inspiration, or if they’re just after a day out with beautiful gardens to stroll through.”
