A SERIOUS crash is causing traffic problems on a main road near York this evening.
North Yorkshire Police were called to the A19 close to the turn-off to Wheldrake, where a car had flipped in the road.
Sergeant Paul Cording, of the force's Roads Policing Group, said there had been no serious injuries in the crash, but the road was closed until the vehicle could be moved.
Both lanes are now open, but heavy traffic has built up in both directions.
