Man arrested after cash and drugs found in car
A MAN from Selby has been arrested after a large amount of cash and drugs were found in a car.
The 36-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs after police officers stopped his BMW car on the A645 near Hensall, close to Selby, at 2.45pm on Friday.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: "Officers conducted a search of the BMW car and seized a large amount of cash and drugs from within the vehicle.
"The man has been released under investigation while enquiries continue."
