A MILITARY medal has been stolen in a burglary at a house in North Yorkshire.
North Yorkshire said the burglary took place in Valley Road, Darley, near Harrogate, some time between 1pm and 10pm on April 11.
Electrical items, jewellery and medication were stolen, as was a Falklands War military medal with blue and green ribbon.
It has a silver crown with then Queen's head on the front and a Falklands crest on the back, and is engraved with the name 'Alan Mould'.
Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to phone North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 2 and ask for PC Gary Anderson or Pateley Bridge Police Station, or email gary.anderson@northyorkshire.pnn.police.uk.
