SCANDINAVIAN runic inscriptions around Britain will be the subject of a talk to be given at the Yorkshire Museum this week.
The talk will be given by Prof Judith Jesch of the University of Nottingham. It will take place in the Tempest Anderson Hall on Tuesday, April 25, at 7.30pm, and it is a joint event of the Yorkshire Philosophical Society and York Museums Trust. Admission is free but donations are welcome. Details at www.ypsyork.org.
