MAKING a website work for a small business is the latest topic on the menu at Northallerton’s lunch break seminar next month.

The session will be held on Thursday, May 4 at the Evolution Business Centre in Northallerton, and will help business owners to understand web developer jargon, and understand how a website could benefit their small business.

Jamie Kerslake of Independent Rural Media, who has built up a reputation for local affordable options for web hosting and development for small businesses, will be there to show people how websites can be used to attract customers and generate sales.

The “Lunch and Learn” programme is run by Hambleton District Council in partnership with the York, North Yorkshire, East Riding Enterprise Partnership.

The monthly sessions take place on the first Thursday of each month from 12pm until 1.30pm and cost £5 per delegate, including a buffet lunch.

The next session, on Thursday, June 8, will focus on practical tips for Facebook advertising.
