YORK-BASED The Money Charity is in the running for a share of a £2 million community fund set up by NatWest.
It will battle it out with 16 other shortlisted organisations across the north that have reached the final stages of the Skills and Opportunities Fund, aimed at supporting people in disadvantaged communities to gain financial capability skills, or to start or develop a new business.
Members of the public have until noon on May 5 to vote for their favourite project, assisting a panel of judges in deciding who receives funding.
