TEA loving locals and visitors to York are spoilt for choice when it comes to places to relax and enjoy a brew in the city.

York has a great selection cafes to choose from, and we want to know what your favourite one is to celebrate National Tea Day today.

Yorkshire has been named the tea capital with 54 per cent of people in the county drinking more than five cups of tea in a day, according to survey results from Mecca Bingo.

York's famous Bettys Tea Rooms, in St Helen's Square, is an obvious contender for one of the best places in the city to enjoy a cup of tea.

Among the highest ranked York cafes on travel website TripAdvisor are Spring Espresso, in Fossgate, Molly's Tearooms, in Stonegate, Bennett's Cafe and Bistro, in High Petergate, and Cafe Concerto, also in High Petergate.
