HOUSE hunters have snapped up new homes on the former Terry’s chocolate factory site so quickly that the second phase is being brought forward.
A spokeswoman for builders David Wilson Homes said an average of two homes were being sold every week at The Chocolate Works development in Campleshon Road, York, highlighting the demand for quality housing in the city.
Sales manager Sarah Hanna said that with most of the first phase now sold, there was a real sense of community at the development, with buyers enjoying the fantastic location close to York Racecourse. “We expect our second phase to be equally popular.”
