SELBY District Vision has been given a £1,000 boost thanks the town’s Vodafone shop.
The charity, which helps people with sight loss in the area, was chosen to get the Vodafone Community Connection Award. Charity treasurer Anne Young said they would be spending the money on devices like phones and tablets and special software for visually impaired people.
Shop manager Marcel Contoret said: “It’s a privilege to support the great work Selby District Vision do for the visually impaired in our local community.”
