A NEW event is being held for people living with dementia and those who care for them.
East Riding Carers Support Service and Hull’s Carers Information and Support Service (CISS) are joining forces for the event, called ‘Living with Dementia’.
It will take place at Hull City Hall, from 10am to 3pm on April 26.
The aim of the day is to showcase the various support organisations and information resources that are available for all those affected by dementia across Hull and the East Riding.
CISS manager Mike Johnson, said: “Carers living in the East Riding and Hull can take advantage of a range of support services but many people are not aware of them. This event is about telling people what is out there and how they can get access to these services.”
