A LAND Rover, trailer and quad bike have been stolen from a farm in North Yorkshire.

North Yorkshire Police said it happened overnight between Saturday and Sunday.

Thieves approached the farm just outside Helmsley and stole a Land Rover, silver metal twin cattle trailer and a green coloured quad bike with a box on the front.

Police want the public's help to determine the full circumstances surrounding the thefts.

A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: "We are appealing for information about the Land Rover pulling the trailer, if it was seen in the area between these times.

"A dark coloured motor car has also been reported to be acting suspiciously in the area."
