MOTORISTS and pedestrians will face delays or have to find alternative routes in three parts of York tomorrow.

The traffic lane next to the central reservation of Hull Road near Pinelands Ways will be closed from the end of the morning rush hour until midnight on Wednesday so that a telecommunications company can carry out work. A diversion will be in place with signposts.

Elsewhere, Howden Lane between the A19 at Crockey Hill and the B1222 at Naburn south of York is closed tomorrow so that tree experts can fell trees on its route. The road is expected to re-open at 3pm. A diversion will be put in place.

In Tang Hall, the footpath linking Osbaldwick Lane and Wycliffe Avenue will be closed from 8am tomorrow morning so that it can be repaired. It is expected to reopen by 4pm tomorrow.
