PUPILS from a primary school in York took part in a spring concert this week.
The children from Osbaldwick Primary School performed at St Thomas’ Church in the village in two shows on Tuesday to showcase their musical talents, and give their parents the opportunity to hear them play.
Pauline Waite, office manager at the school, said the show - which featured about 60 children playing various instuments - could become a regular fixture in the school’s calendar.
She said: “It was set up by head teacher Lesley Barringer and music specialist Karen Marshall. It was our inaugural spring concert, and we’re looking to make it a regular thing to showcase the children’s music.”
The school thanked Rev Andrew Clements for use of the church hall.
