A YORK hotel has won a top European award.
Hotel Indigo York in Walmgate was crowned Hotel of the Year for the Hotel Indigo brand at the IHG Europe Hotel Stars Awards 2016, which are InterContinental Hotel Group’s Europe-wide annual awards.
General manager Mike Sweeting, who travelled to a ceremony in Berlin to accept the award, said: “This award recognises all the hard work and team effort we’ve put in this year.
“We’re constantly striving to go the extra mile so guests can expect a consistently top notch experience when visiting our hotel and enjoy a true Yorkshire welcome.”
