A MAN who was hit by a driver on a York pavement has been released from hospital.
The man, believed to be in his mid-fifties, was hit by a car on the corner of Blossom Street and Nunnery Lane last Tuesday afternoon and taken to York Hospital with serious head injuries. North Yorkshire Police said today he had since left hospital. A 40-year-old woman was arrested in connection with the crash, and has been released on bail while investigations continue.
