A MAN has been arrested after a PCSO was allegedly threatened with a knife and had their bike stolen in York.
North Yorkshire Police said the PCSO was threatened by a man in Crombie Avenue at 3pm on Wednesday. The man is said to have stolen the officer's bicycle, and made off into Wigginton Road.
Police tweeted around 5.30pm to say they had found the bike and a man was arrested at 6.15pm.
The man was described as wearing black clothing, and left on the bicycle, which is marked up with North Yorkshire Police branding.
Police have urged anyone who saw the incident or has seen the man to contact them.
