FOUR dogs were hurt in a car crash on Saturday.
Police are investigating after the hounds were hit by a blue Ford Fiesta as they crossed Beverley Road, in Norton, at about 1.50pm.
The hounds are believed to have been part of the hunt.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Police said: “Police were contacted at 1.47pm Saturday 25 March 2017 to reports of a road traffic collision between a blue Ford Fiesta and four dogs on Beverley Road, Norton.
“An investigation into the collision is ongoing.”
